Research goal: to show the psychological pre-conditions of integration of Russian speaking community in the modern Ukrainian society. To define the psychological factors of upgrading the role of education as a provider of integration processes. To work out the means of positive psychological influence on the state of mass consciousness in the Russian speaking environment. Research methods: theoretical analysis and generalization, the expert evaluations, the psycho-semantic questionings, focus-groups, the model design, methods of mathematical statistics, socio-psychological training. Theoretical and practical results: The conceptual model of the collective self-determination was elaborated. Five types of the attitudes of the Russian-language citizens to the integration in the Ukrainian society were described. The main perspectives of collective self-determination of Russian-language community in Ukraine were revealed. The potential tasks for psychological support of Russian-language community were outlined. The indicators of social and psychological adaptation of individuals to community were created. The tools for study of the strategies of social and psychological adaptation of the representatives of language community to the broad social environment were elaborated.
