In the research area 55 species of heterotrophic flagellates are found, among them 34 species are marked firstly in the Ukrainian Polissya including new 32 species in Ukrainian Fauna. Morphological peculiarities of the obtained species are specified, original inventory of genera and species are found and species diagnoses are differentiated. Autecological particular qualities of freshwater heterotrophic flagellates are firstly examined. In the course of seasonal dynamics research two population peaks and species weald are fixed as well as correlation value change between population and species weald of heterotrophic flagellates and abiotic factors while different seasons, dominant species variation is pointed out. Ecological species spectra of this group are firstly obtained; ecological groups of heterotrophic flagellates are marked. It is determined that ecological spectra of individual species can change in the basins of different types. The data on the dissemination of heterotrophic flagellates species in the basins of different types are obtained. It is determined that specific complexes of these protists in the ponds that are located in the river basins are derivatives of the river fauna complex.
