There are the following botanical collections: 1) the genus Rosa L.: decorative and aromatic varieties, species of the Crimean flora (rozarium), 2) Ornamental flowering shrubs (siringarium, frutitsetum), 3) kind of Iris, Hemerocallis: species and varieties (iridary), 4) floral decorative plants (exposure of continuous flowering), 5) water and coastal aquatic plants (a cascade of reservoirs). We conducted investigations of biomorphological and ecological features, rhythms of growth and development, resistance to pests and diseases the following ornamental trees and shrubs and herbaceous crops: lilac, rose, honeysuckle, elderberry, iris, canna, lily, host, tulip, hyacinth, lily, chrysanthemum, dahlia, peony, etc. and developed the best methods of reproduction ornamental crops in the soil and climatic conditions of Foothills zone of the Crimea.
