The research goal is to determine the ways of increasing heat engineering, economical and ecological characteristics for gas-jet grinding device and techno-logical equipment for transportation and processing bulk materials. The research methods are mathematical and physical modeling, calculating and experimental methods. A technique of acoustic monitoring gas-jet grinding bulk materials is de-veloped. Acoustic characteristics of gas-jet grinding various bulk materials and the effects of the baked cascade-vane angle on power carrier supply in gas-jet trans-portation of bulk materials are investigated. New lines for ejecting bulk materials in the grinding chamber are proposed. An algorithm and a program for calculating acoustic characteristics of gas-jet grinding are developed. New information about the effects of physical characteristics of bulk mate-rials on acoustic characteristics of grinding is presented.The zone of the greatest effects of the baked cascade-vane angle on effi-ciency of bulk materials transportation at plants of aerofountain burning lower-grade coal is determined.Supply of bulk materials in the grinding chamber of gas-jet grinder is improved. Materials and equipment for experiments are supplied, in particular separate units and instruments of an experimental plant (the grinding chamber, an ejector, the system for measuring characteristics of grinding) are improved. New engineering ways of increasing the efficiency of gas-jet grinding bulk materials are proposed. The Aerofountain-TP experimental plant is improved. Tests on transportation of bulk materials are carried out.
