A charecteristic feature of electromagnetic processes in the system mould-EMS that is avalibility of strong leakage magnetic fields were taken into account in the model. A possibility was obtained to model the magnetic field in a local area, in the billet cross-section in particular. The model is realised with the help of block algorthm.
