The subject of this study is the resource potential and the model of global economic development. The research aims to study successful models of economic development entities in terms of the global economy paradigm systemic transformations. The main results of inter-chair of research on "Resources and the model of global economic development," done by Department of International Economics and Management of GVUZ "Kyiv National Economic University named after Hetman" consist in a constructive interpretation of the methodological apparatus of the newest techniques and tools for the study of resource building models and global economic development, among other things: - the processes of tehnoglobalizm as one of the key trends in the deployment process of the asymmetry of global economic development and revealed the evolution of its development, which allowed to identify the processes of genesis and the deployment of the asymmetry of Science and Technology Development of countries; - a systematization of factors of competitiveness of national banking systems in terms of financial globalization with the release within their structure of endogenous and exogenous factors. Moreover, grounded theoretical model of the institutionalization of global economic development under conditions of multipolarity, which reveals the systemic nature of relationships between institutions at different levels and types and reflects the degree of hierarchy and the functional and organizational competencies of main subjects of the global economic system; identifies strategic priorities for improving the quality of human resources of Ukraine as a key condition for achieving a state of high competitive status; identified strategic areas to ensure the competitive advantages of economy of Ukraine on the basis of parity incorporation of national sectors in the internationalized reproductive processes and technological development of production chains and the production of centers in different countries; has developed a systematic model for phase growth of competitiveness of the economy with the release of the adaptive-forming, innovation-growing, differentiated, globally-integration stages.
