Methods: theoretical analyses, psychosomatic methods, questionnaires, statistical procedures The typology of social innovations and corresponding images is developed; the directions of methodological shift for construction of the technologies for social and educational innovations image formation are suggested. Empirical studies demonstrate that, despite positive innovative expectations of the Ukrainian citizens, in mass opinion conditions of contradictory multiple image of innovation exist. The system of technologies of the social and educational innovations positive image formation in public opinion was developed. It includes the following: technologies of innovative culture and conduct formation; deliberated public opinion technologies supporting the implementing innovations; technologies of provision of positive experience in utilizing innovations by target groups; management technologies (reflexive management, management of innovative conflicts, and alike).
