It was shown that the transformation has features of the 1st order phase transition. When studying an influence of microstructure on the parameters of plastic deformation of the ultrafine-grained (UFG) copper in the range 340 - 0.5 K, it was established that the Hall-Petch law is valid down to 0.5 K.
