The subjects of researching are problems of development of theory, methodology and organization of audit, state financial control and prospects of application of information technologies. A research purpose is subsequent perfection of the national system of audit, strengthening of its status, growth of meaningfulness in the conditions of reformation of social and political sphere transformations of state case, frame and effective use of resources of economic agents. The main results of implementation of research theme "Problems and prospects of development of audit, state financial control and information technologies in the contemporary economy" by audit department of the state higher educational establishment "Kyiv National Economic University by Vadym Hetman" consist in that directions of subsequent development of external and internal audit are developed, taking into account the changes of strategy of their realization on enterprises, establishments and in organizations in the contemporary economy; investigational problems of coexistence and co-operation of independent professional and state financial audit; grounded conception of development methodology and organization the state financial audit activity of economic agents state sector of economy and efficiency of use of budgetary facilities and property in this sphere, the criteria of audit of efficiency are offered; investigational theoretical and practical aspects of internal audit and possibility of development of the compatible going near its construction in organizations private and state sector of economy taking into account the changes of priorities and requirements to realization of internal audit; grounded methodical and organizational aspects of audit of the financial reporting in the conditions of modern information technologies in accounting; methodical developments of introduction the administrative informative systems and technologies, introduction of computer audit; grounded conception of synergy of accounting information in the management of economic agents; certainly method of estimation of public accountant risk and his components in the process of audit of financial records; maintenance of curricula and programs are improved and renewed from disciplines of professional direction with the purpose of forming of professional jurisdictions of specialists on an account and audit; prepared recommendations in relation to introduction of results of scientific researches in lawmaking activity of the Auditing Chamber of Ukraine and Ministry of Finance of Ukraine. With these and other results it is possible to familiarize in works of authors of department of audit (candidate's and doctoral dissertations, scientific articles, theses of lectures as the results of the executed researches in scientific and other editions, materials of scientific conferences).
