The effective methods of the purification of the uranium and thorium compounds containing sewage on the basis of the data are obtained. The systematic researches have been carried out and the regularities of ionic surfactants (alkyl- and dialkylammonium chlorides, potassium alkylcarboxylates) adsorption on the freshly precipitated uranyl hydroxide have been stated to explain and forecast the efficiency of carrying out of the process of uranium isolation from alkaline solutions in a kind of uranyl hydroxide by a precipitating flotation method are established. The dispersion analysis of the uranyl hydroxide in the presence of adsorbed surfactant and in their absence has been carried out. The possibility of the intensification of uranium and thorium compound flotation isolation from dilute aqueous solutions has been proved by the experiments with the use of flotoextraction and flotation with the carrier. The new effective flotation reagents, such as thin emulsified solution of the trialkylamine (TAA) and tributyl phosphate (TBP) in white spirit and thin dispergated solid solution of the TAA and TBP in paraffin was have been suggested. The regularities of the uranium and thorium compound adsorption on the particle carrier surface have been stated. The optimal conditions of uranium and thorium compound isolation from dilute aqueous solutions with the help of the proposed reagents in absence or presence of different electrolytes have been determined. The interaction mechanism of reagents with uranium and thorium compounds was suggested. It takes into account simultaneous course of complex formation and hydrolysis reactions, analysis of chemical content and colloid chemical properties of reagents. A colloid-chemical model of the natural radionuclides flotation isolation has been developed.
