Alongside with economic indicators, the regional efficiency criterion is regarded as such notion as "regional social quality". It totally reflects the quality of welfare in the region, different conditions of living i.e. social "selfidentification" of an individual in certain environment. The object of research is quantitative and qualitative characteristics of mass phenomena and demographic processes in economic and social spheres. The main objective of the research is substantiation of conceptual essentials and practical recommendations concerning statistical research of economic, social and demographic processes on the regional level which assumes the following directions of the re-search: system of ratios for the assessment of social, economic and demographic development of a region; statistical analysis of job market and the items to form the labor resources in a region; statistical research of conditions and development of commodities and services market of a region; multiple statistical analysis of economic and social development of a region; statistical analysis of financial reli-ability of companies with life insurance. There were used the methods of scientific research on theoretical and empiric levels and dialectic logics as well as statistical and economic & mathematical methods. In the context of statistical research of social, economic and demographic processes on the regional level there was summarized the system of ratios for the assessment of social, economic and demographic regional development, accomplished the statistical analysis of job market, goods and services, financial reliability of companies with life insurance, substantiated the methods of multiple statistical analysis of economic and social development of a region.
