The purpose of the inquiry is making of the experimental prototype of the equipment with the control system of SPS of powders, which would provide for better structure of the sintered material and enhanced mechanical properties. During fulfillment of this inquiry the components of the experimental prototype for SPS of powders were produced, and the prototype of the SPS generator was improved with consideration of the test results. The scheme of generator of SPS of powders is improved and modeled in terms of physics. Also, working modes of the SPS generator were explored with test load, and recommendations were filed for refurbishment and use of the new equipment for SPS. The new equipment allows for monitoring and changing the velocity of current rise through the template to be sintered, changing the frequency of the variable component of current from 1 to 10 kHz, automatically sustaining the average current value within the certain limits. It also has a temperature control function for the template to be sintered; the data exchange between the control and monitoring system of the installation and the PC is enabled for automatic data collection and processing for the current state of the SPS and remote control of the whole assembly. All features listed above allow for using the new equipment as a multi-purpose and powerful tool for the research related to the search for the new efficient SPS modes.
