The task of the research was to define the influence of transactional costs on the development of marketing research and the place of marketing and marketing research in the development of the firm's theories; to substantiate the expediency and possibility of using systematic approach in marketing research; to define marketing research influence on the formation of marketing system of the enterprise; to systematize methodological aspects of carrying out marketing research; to generalize the experience of information support of marketing research; to define the role of marketing research in optimization of management decisions; to define the main tendencies of development of the world and domestic marketing research markets. The main results of the scientific research theme "System of marketing research in the economy of Ukraine" performed by the marketing chair of V. Hetman Kyiv National Economic University are in defining the peculiarities of using systematic approach in marketing research.
