Ways of broadband access networks organization and various architectural solutions features where explored in case of xDSL and FTTx technologies usage. Principles and architectural solutions for interoperability of broadband access networks where created based on EX technology, within a variety of broadband access networks configurations and internetworking options. The possibilities of next-generation networks that are based on the open systems of integrated telecommunication technology, with modern broadband access networks where explored. It was determined, that developed architectural solutions for interoperability of broadband access networks and EX technology based networks can be applied within the transition to an integrated telecommunication technology ITT.
