Goal - wide energy and resourses saving technologies by turbomasnines electric drives global modernization of Ukrainian housing and communal services based on the domestic manufacturer frequency converters. Investigation techniques - methods of the automatic control theory, the electric drive theory, mathematical modelling of systems with distributed parameters. It is proved, that a principal cause of water supply systems damages during electric drives starting is pressure increase because of wave processes in electric-mechanic-hydraulhc system with the distributed parameters. The interrelation between start time and water supply system parameters is established. Technique of frequency converter control definition is developed. It provides elimination of pressure unallowable increase. Technologies of pump unit electric drive control with the designed frequency converter are developed for housing and communal services. Use of results will allow to create a basis for significant economy of fuel and energy resources in Ukraine with use of the domestic manufacturer equipment.
