The samples of single crystals doped and undoped by Се3+ ions with a perovskite and garnet structures Gd3Al5-xGaxO12 (GAGG) and Gd3Al5-xGaxO12:Ce (GAGG:Ce) have been obtained at the selected values of cation concentrations in the range of x = 2-3. The conditions of crystallization, depending on the cationic composition of compounds, were investigated to obtain structurally perfect single crystals of a good optical quality and without cracks.
