The basis for the implementation of the scientific research work is the consolidated annual plan of scientific and scientific-technical activities in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Annual Plan of Scientific, Scientific and Technical Activities of the National Academy Hetman Petro Sahaidachnyi National Army Academy for 2017, approved by the Commander of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The object of research - the processes taking place in navigation systems; methods of checking the adequacy of models for obtaining navigation information by methods of mathematical modeling. The purpose of the work is to determine the ways of solving problems of creation of complex inertial navigation systems for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, substantiation of requirements for perspective navigation systems for land mobile objects in the interests of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Research methods are a comparative analysis of the requirements of the guidelines, the setting of tasks for navigating land mobile objects in the cybernetic sense, the use of the basis of differential and integral calculus, methods for evaluating navigation information based on the Kalman filter, optimization methods based on the maximum likelihood. Modern conditions for combat operations are characterized by a significant increase in the volume and intensity of information flows about the real situation on the battlefield, and the amount of time allocated for its processing and defeat of targets significantly decreases, especially with the use of high-speed precision weapons, resulting in the need to develop and the improvement of navigation systems capable of ensuring the effective implementation of tactical and operational tasks through the active use of navigation and geospatial information through the use of sys m, based on automated control actions mechanized (tank) units, artillery units and units of the Land Forces jet Armed Forces.
