The method of research is a numerical modelling. The base software is developed enabling a numerical modelling of chemically reacting mixture flows of gas and monodisperse phases in the case of the pulverized coals gasification and burning and ideal gas swirling flows in reaction spaces of technological devices. On the basis of the base software developed the gasdynamic flow fields are calculated in reaction spaces of technological devices and test calculations are conducted concerning the assessment of the flow swirling influence on flow characteristics.
