Information × Registration Number 0399U002435, 0197U016689 , R & D reports Title The technological regimes of the automated growth of alkali-halide scintillation single crystals in the "Kros" pattern installation and machining of large rectangular NaI(Tl) scintillators for medical gamma-cameras have been developed. The analysis of thermal fields in crystals has been performed. It has been shown that in case of their automated pulling from melt in the conic crucible, the favourable conditions for crysallization heat dissipation are created. It has been shown that when irradiated the scinitillator resolution deteoriorates due to the average absorption coefficient increase and dispersion growth along the crystal. By means of modeling, it has been found out that the relative contribution of the fast component (F/T) is effected by optical absorption selectivity.
