The facility is located in cooling pool universal compartment and perform remote packing, as well as decontamination of all parts. It has been developed and drawn up design and engineeing documents and specification, including technical description, operation manuals and technical requirements. Test pocedure has been also outlined and approved. Remote control desks to be used for remote packing of SR and AR CPS, details of auxilliary equipment and transport container providing biological protection of personnel, while radioactive capsule handling and loading into RAW storage, have been manuactured. Currently,there is incompleted cutting instrument equipped with mechanical arms and mechanism for rota ting the assembly with capsule, which implements SR cutting and loading into capsule, as well as transfer of SR crross-piece from cutting zone and its loading into capsule. After the facility will have been successfully tested it would be used at NPP as a good decision of the problem related with core cooling pool overload.
