As a result of measurements it was cleared that both gamma-irradiation equivalent dose rate and radon volume activity do not exceed background values, while concentrations of Rn and its daughters of decay exceed the standard value in 1,5-5 times. Exposure dose for underground personnel also exceeds established limits at 56%of working places. The lung cancer cases for miners of "Krivbass" has increased at last 20 years.The ranking of Krivoy Rog mines has been performed in accordance with existing level of radiation harm categories. It has been proposed recommendations concerning more detailed survey of radon harmful mines and undertaking of urgent measures for radiation situation to meet standard conditions at them.
