On the basis of complex study data, to propose exemplary recommendation of scientific-methodical character for further improvement of technico-tactical actions during preparation of high-performance female skiers within annual macrocycle. During realization of research tasks dealing with the subject in 1998, the following methods were used : analytical review of special literary sources, training plans and reports of top female skiers, questionnaire, pedagogical observations, tremometry, chronometry, pulsimetry ( by means of sensors and "Roba" pulsimeters ), basal (axcillary) body temperature measurents, determination of characteristic indices for nose-mucus crystallization (fern phenomenon), methods of mathematic and statistic analysis. Obta ined results : research data were used for preparation of female athletes, members of Ukrainian national teams, for competitions in biathlon, cross-country skiing and mountain-skiing at the championship and Cups of Ukraine, Europe and World, as well as XVIII Winter Olympic Games in Nagano (Japan, 1998).
