The object - is studying respiration regime of yong weightlifters at the stage of training competitive exercises. Methods - study and analysis of scientific and methodical literature, study of the advanced methods of coaches'worc and athletes'training in Ukraine and Poland by means of enquirities and questionnaires instrumental research of weightlifters'external respiration indiced by means of spirografy and chronography methods. There were obtained preliminary data of respiration regime of weightlefters having different sports' qualification in the state of rest. There was difinied interrelation among respiration regime indices inside a separate qualification group.There also was obtained a veritable difference between some respiration regimes indices of weightlifters masters of sports and a group of newcomers.
