Aim of modernisation is re-equipment of freigth diesel lokomotive for traction of suburban passenger trains set with trailer coaches developed and manyfactured by HC "Luganskteplovoz". Modernised diesel lokomotive provides traction of trains with putting diesel locomotives sections in train head and tail; power supply for electrik heating, ventilation and lighting of coaches; opening and shutting door control; system of notification as well as remove fire alarm. Operational tests confirmed positive results of the modernisation. Use of modernised diesel lokomotive allows solving the problem of passenger transportation in suburban operation and reduse material costs for changing diesel-trains of Hungarian production that have already worked out their resourse. The diesel lokomotive together with trailer coaches of Holding Com pany "Luganskteplovoz" can be used both on Ukrainian railways and in the CIS.
