The article studies the changes in the price situation, which have taken place in the economy of Ukraine recently, and requiring a new approach to maintaining the state's control over the price discipline on the part of enterprises. The author uncovers the peculiar features of the domestic economy, which is characterized by the high level of commodity markets monopolization, and analyses the causes and consequences of monopoly enterprises' abuses in the sphere of price formation. During the analysis the author reveals the methodical and organizational defects in the work of the An-timonopoly Committee and the State Price Control Inspection, and offers ways to improve the price control functions. popup.nrat_date 2025-05-12 Close
