An inversely proportional dependency between the degree of antioxidant activity of tissues and the level of accumulation of LPO in them was discovered. It is discovered, that antioxidant (vitamin E) has maximal effect as regards decrease of the content of LPO in blood vessel wall in progress of the hyperadrenaline arteriosclerosis, and antagonists of calcium have less evident effect: the blocker of calcium channels (nifedipinum) has moderate effect, and the complex former (diphosphonic acid) - does not make any reliable influence in this respect at all. The similarity and simultaneity in LPO content alteration and antioxidant activity in organs under research was discovered; this fact is possibly determined by stereotype of mechanisms of pathogenesis of hyperadrenaline violations at the progress of arteriosclerosis. The obtained results can be used for more profound understanding of the role of lipid and calcium mechanisms of cell injure, as well as angioprotecting importance of exogenous antioxidants, antagonists of calcium and own antioxidant systems of cells of the vascular wall in pathogenesis of arteriosclerosis.
