У роботі визначено статус газетного повідомлення про погоду (ГПП) у системі текстів газетно-публіцистичного стилю; проаналізовано структуру категорії інформативності в ГПП, її плани вираження і змісту, особливості прагмалінгвістичного підходу до вивчення зазначеної категорії. The thesis deals with the investigation of pragmatic aspect of the category of informativeness in the English synoptic text of newspaper journalistic style, i.e. in newspaper weather forecast reports (NWFR).
