The detailed analysis of the main proved risk factors of stroke is made. The risk factors were: arterial hypertension (AH), smoking, hypercholesterinemia (HCE), diabetes mellitus (DM), alcohol abuse, compromised hereditary history, mental stress, cardial diseases. High incidence of AH, HCE, DM and alcohol abuse, was found. The interactions between several risk factors were analysed. Strategy and concrete recommendations on the prevention of stroke are given.
