The detailed analysis of the cardiac risk factors of stroke is made. Critical importance of atrial fibrillation, postifarction cardiosclerosis, mitral valvular deseas was found. The interactions between several risk factors were analysed. Strategy and concrete recommendations on the prevention of stroke are given.
