The problem of competitiveness of economy demands the further research because there is no unambiguity and different theoretical approaches not only concerning factors of increase of competitiveness, and and the concept „competitiveness ” are used both in an economic science, and at realization of economic policy . Different approaches to interpretations of this concept are considered in this paper. Also some competitiveness concepts and other theories considering specific advantages of the countries and a condition which influence them are analysed.
