It was determined the deterioration of quality of water, especially the comparison of the specifications for fishbranch of meaning. After the flow of the river within the limits of the city the concentration of heavy metals (Fe, Cu, Ni), nitric connections (nitrit, salt ammonium), phosphate, and also hanged substances has increased strongly. Owing to the increaseing of biogens of elements in the water was observed, the increasing level oxidizability (acid) and biological absorption of oxygen. The conclusion about the intense character of the waterecologycal conditions of the river Prut was made and the realization of the necessary measures for its improvement was offered.
