Mutual understanding between all the language groups, including respect and tolerance, has been encouraged by the mass media and the educational system. The language of the administrative communication can be considered a specific “culture”, and the EU administration itself – a specific linguistic society. Those translators, who do not only have a good command of foreign languages, but who also have substantial knowledge in various subject fields, produce a major influence upon creation and development of professional terminology.
