The linings are kept on a drum with the help directing, which by screws fasten to a pulley. As a result of theoretical researches the dependences for definition of duration of the periods of braking of frictional pairs pulley-lining and lining-tape, and also basic force dependences necessary a for an estimation force load of a brake in the different periods of process of braking are received. У даній статті розглядається стрічково-колодкове гальмо, в якому фрикційні накладки не з’єднані зі стрічкою, а рухомо розміщені на циліндричній поверхні шківа. Накладки утримуються на барабані за допомогою напрямних, які гвинтами кріпляться до шківа. У результаті теоретичних досліджень отримані залежності для визначення тривалості періодів гальмування фрикційними парами шків-накладка та накладка-стрічка, а також основні силові залежності, необхідні для оцінки силової навантаженості гальма в різні періоди процесу гальмування.
