The experimental research technique of the thin film strain response under elastic (quasielastic) and plastic strain is designed. The technique allows also to diagnose the beginning and degree of the cracking the film in process of the tensile test. Проведено дослідження фізико-механічних процесів, що відбуваються у чутливому елементі плівкового тензодатчика на різних стадіях його деформації, максимальне значення якої сягало 15 %. Розроблена експериментальна методика дослідження тензочутливості тонких плівок в області пружної (квазіпружної) та пластичної деформації. Методика дозволяє також діагностувати початок та ступінь розтріскування плівки в процесі випробування на розтяг.
