The basic tendencies of planning and forecasting in Ukraine are allocated; general directions of creation of preconditions for the most effective SEA implementation are outlined. У статті розглянуті інституційні передумови імплементації стратегічної оцінки, особлива увага приділяється аналізу сучасного стану державного планування та прогнозування соціально-економічного розвитку як одного з основних напрямків впровадження СЕО в Україні. Виявлені основні тенденції щодо планування і прогнозування у державі, окреслені генеральні напрямки створення передумов для більш ефективної імплементації СЕО.
