The prose rhythm is viewed as one of the significant factors of intertextuality, i.e. the functional interaction of texts, based on introducing foreign elements, notions, values and experience to the native world of the novel heroes. The asymmetry of these two worlds, namely “native” and ‘foreign”, finds its expression by means of the mingling of the rhythm of various genres. The ways of transplanting such intertextual links, preserving the interplay of the two worlds and expressing the pragmatic effect of the stylistic devices, that are involved into the game, are discussed in the paper При цитуванні документа, використовуйте посилання http://essuir.sumdu.edu.ua/handle/123456789/10478 У статті розглядається переклад особливостей мелодики ритму, яка наповнює роман „Переверзія” Юрія Андруховича чисельними голосами різноманітних народів різних часів. Прозовий ритм розглядається як важливий чинник інтертекстуальності, тобто функціональної взаємодії текстів, яка ґрутнується на введені чужих елементів, понять, цінностей та досвіду в чужий світ героїв роману. Асиметрія двох світів, “чужого” й “свого” виражається через змішання ритмомелодики різних жанрів.
