A total of 66 S.sonnei strains and 42 S.flexneri strains were tested with drugs from five various groups: Chloramine, Chlorantoin, Corzolex plus, Bacilocyd, Lyzoformine, AXD-2000. Only S.sonnei modern strains was found to be partially resistant to Chloramine and Chlorantoin.
