Об’єктом аналізу є перекладацькі трансформації, предметом - розпізнання семантичної конгруентності та лексико-граматичної девіації у віршованому просторі перекладу. Матеріалом для осмислення слугує вірш ‘The Arrow and the Song’ Н. Longfellow та його переклад російською мовою «Стрела и песня» Д. Михаловського, а також пісня Т.Мора ‘The Bells of St.Petersburgh’ та український переклад «Вечір» Я. Щоголіва.
