The aim of this investigation is to identify the problems of linguistic genderology and to prove in terms of phraseology and English proverbs that language fixes world mapping from the male point of view, where the female factor is represented as something secondary, in the quality of object, but not as the subject. У статті йдеться про гендерні конструкти англійської мови, їх лінгвокогнітивні аспекти у фразеологічному просторі. Мета дослідження – визначення проблеми лінгвістичної гендерології й доведення на прикладі фразеології й прислів`їв англійської мови, що мова фіксує картину світу із чоловічої точки зору, де жіноче представляється, головним чином, у ролі об`єкта, а не суб`єкта дії.
