Большое внимание уделено вопросам, с которыми может столкнуться отечественный банковский сектор после вступления страны в ВТО. Проанализированы позитивные и негативные стороны прихода иностранных банков на национальный рынок, предложены конкретные меры по его защите. Раскрыты особенности транснационализации банковской деятельности на примере ведущего банка страны, очерчены направления по реализации этой стратегии в масштабах республики. The article deals with the problems of the azerbaijanian banking system in the context of financial globalization. Much attention is paid to issues that can confront the domestic banking sector after the country's accession to the WTO. Analyzed the positive and negative sides of the foreign banks entry in the national market, propose concrete measures for its protection.
