Трансформація професійно-технічної освіти розглядається як філософська, соціально-економічна і педагогічна проблема. Аналізується неперервна професійна освіта як світова тенденція, висвітлюються провідні ідеї українських концепцій її розвитку та можливі шляхи реалізації у контексті європейської інтеграції. Викладено особливості розвитку професійно-технічної освіти в умовах незалежної України та основні напрями і результати наукових досліджень з теорії і методики професійної освіти. Для педагогів і керівників закладів професійно-технічної освіти та управлінь освіти і науки, викладачів і студентів вищих педагогічних навчальних закладів, наукових працівників. Transformation of vocational education is considered as a philosophical, socio-economic and pedagogical problem.
