The metacommunicative function of the political discourse is analysed from the point of cross-disciplined consideration. Strategies of pragmatic interpretation are used instead of traditional structural model for understanding of the text. Дана стаття вивчає різні підходи до тлумачення політичного дискурсу та визначає особливості дискурс-аналізу з метою адекватної інтерпретації текстів політичного дискурсу. Політичний дискурс є об’єктом міждисциплінарних досліджень, але теорія мовленнєвих актів та прагматичних досліджень дозволяють реалізувати основну функцію політичного дискурсу при перекладі – функцію переконання.
