Their merits such as a heightened reliability of digital devices, working in these, speed, cost, possibility of special task decision. As an example one of the number systems, binomial one, is considered. Its estimation and possible areas of its application is given. Дана характеристика обобщенных позиционных систем счисления. Рассмотрены их достоинства, такие, как повышенная надежность цифровых устройств, работающих в них, их быстродействие, стоимость, возможность решения специальных задач. В качестве примера приведена одна из таких систем счисления – биномиальная. Дана ее оценка и возможные области применения.
