Transients at short circuits on the ground are complex enough, their qualitative and quantitative characteristics depend on the big number of factors which degree of influence is investigated insufficiently. Searches of means of restriction overvoltages or their use in a complex are necessary. The decision of these questions is obviously possible for a way of development of full models of elements of electric networks and means of restriction of currents and the voltage reflecting all basic influencing factors, on the basis of new methods and means of calculation of electromagnetic transients. Выполнен анализ условий работы электрических сетей 6-35 кВ и применяемых в них средств ограничения перенапряжений при однофазных замыканиях на землю. Переходные процессы при замыканиях на землю достаточно сложны, их качественные и количественные характеристики зависят от большого числа факторов, степень влияния которых исследована недостаточно. Необходимы поиски средств ограничения перенапряжений или их использование в комплексе. Решение этих вопросов представляется возможным на пути разработки полных моделей элементов электрических сетей и средств ограничения токов и напряжений, отражающих все основные влияющие факторы, на основе новых методов и средств расчета электромагнитных переходных процессов.
