Перехід до ринкової економіки, перебудова відносин власності, інші чинники призвели до фінансової кризи сільськогосподарського виробництва. Селяни у десять разів зменшили обсяги закупівель техніки. Підприємства сільськогосподарського машинобудування, не маючи збуту, - зупинялись. У банкірів також не було ні зайвих коштів, ні проблем із розміщенням наявних. Треба було терміново шукати вихід. В Україні знайшлись ініціатори, серед яких, треба відмітити, НАК «Украгролізинг», що спробували вийти із цієї ситуації, пристосувавши основні відомі у світі засади лізингової діяльності до умов України. Це дало змогу залучити частину державних коштів до лізингових інвестицій. Unlike world economic tendencies in agriculture of Ukraine in a middle 90th difficult financial terms were created. In Ukraine there were initiators among which, it is needed to mark, «Ukragrolizing», that made attempt go out from this situation, adjusting basic principles of leasing activity are known in the world to the terms of Ukraine.
