The contents of microelements was determined the method of atomic absorption mass – spectrophotometry. The origin of iron deficiency anaemia is accompanied also with the deficiency of zinc, cobalt, nickel in red blood cells and serum of blood, and also with the development of copper disbalance. There is a high excretion of microelements at development of acute glomerulonephritis, a pyelonephritis is characterized by considerable excretion of iron. У статті на основі власного досвіду та публікацій останніх років висвітлено фізіологічну роль низки мікроелементів (цинку, міді, марганцю, кобальту, нікелю, хрому), ознаки, що можуть супроводжувати нестачу даних елементів, та зміни їх вмісту в біосередовищах при розвитку залізодефіцитної анемії та запальних захворювань нирок у дітей. Вміст мікроелементів визначався методом атомно– абсорбційної мас– спектрофотометрії. Виникнення залізодефіцитної анемії супроводжується наявністю еритроцитарного та сироваткового дефіциту цинку, кобальту, нікелю, а також розвитком сироватково– еритроцитарного дисбалансу міді. При розвитку гострого гломерулонефриту спостерігається висока екскреція мікроелементів, для пієлонефриту властива значна ферумурія.
