Last two decades the tendency to increase in such forms of an inflammation of an outgrowth is looked through, and death rate remains at one level – 0,12 %. The authors have treated acute appendicitis, including destructive one (74,5 %), having applied lymphotropic introduction of an antibiotic in the postoperative period. Any complications were not observed. Автори наводять дані літератури, за якими гнійні ускладнення після апендектомії спостерігаються головним чином при деструктивних формах апендициту. Останніми двома десятиріччями відмічається тенденція до збільшення саме таких форм запалення відростка, а смертність залишається на одному рівні – 0,12%. Автори провели лікування гострого апендициту, у тому числі деструктивного (74,5%), застосувавши у післяопераційний період лімфотропне введення антибіотика. Жодних ускладнень не спостерігали.
