Каразіна Description The article is concerned with the subjedctive and objective fators that cause the “painful” hesiatation pauses in the flow of the interpreter’s speech and with the classification of the kinds of language mateials which are apt to cause misunderstanding and as a result the hesitation pauses on the part of the interpreter. У статті визначаються суб‘єктивні та об‘єктивні причини появи у потоці мовлення перекладача пауз-хезитацій, класифікуються мовні елементи, усний переклад яких становить певні труднощі, що обумовлюють появу пауз-хезитацій.
