The definitions of conceptual and language world pictures as the results of people’s categorizing activity are given, their interrelationship is established. The processes of categorization and conceptualization as universal cognition acts are distinguished. Archetypes as primary concepts necessary for the creation of conceptual and language world pictures are analyzed.
