In the article the main problems of functional load of proper names in the fiction field have been examined and analyzed. Comprehending of proper names realization in fairy-tale discourse gives the opportunity to understand the characteristic of a personage and specificity of a text in the best way. Стаття присвячена дослідженню функціонування власних імен у казковому дискурсі. У даній роботі було розглянуто та проаналізовано основні проблеми функціонального навантаження антропонімів у художньому просторі. Осмислення реалізації власних імен у казковому дискурсі дає змогу глибше усвідомити характеристику персонажа, а також специфіку тексту.
